Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission- Ghaziabad
One day workshop on “Awareness of Indian Pharmacopoeia |(IP) and Indian Pharmacopoeia Reference Standards (IPRS)” was organized by Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ghaziabad in collaboration with CDSCO, Zonal Office, Hyderabad on dated 02nd February 2017 at Hyderabad. One of the important mandates of IPC is skill development. Skill and knowledge are the driving force for economic growth and social development of any country. Underlining the commitment towards development of skills.
Total 200 participants from various industries, institutions, regulatory and government organizations were participated in this workshop.
The workshop has come various scientific presentations of IPC followed by panel discussion of industry with IPC and USP.
In this workshop various scientific presentations on regulatory aspects by IPC were given by Dr P.L Sahu, on “Role of Indian Pharmacopoeia in ensuring Quality Medicines”, Dr Robin Kumar, IPC on “Indian Pharmacopoeia Reference Standards”, Dr Anuj Prakash, IPC, on “Good Practice of Working Standards”, Dr Meenakshi Dahiya, IPC on “IPC at Global Scenario” and Shri P.B.N Prasad, DDC(I)CDSCO, Hyderabad on “Regulatory aspects”.
After presentations workshop was followed by panel discussion of Pharmaceutical Industries with IPC and USP.
This workshop provides good opportunity for pharmaceutical industries and IPC to share ideas and exchange knowledge on relevant issues to strengthen the Pharma industry.
